Francesco Gabriele Frola

Francesco Gabriele Frola is an Italian dancer. He joined the National Ballet of Canada in 2010 and in 2018 he was promoted to the first dancer, the highest degree of the company. The same year, he joined the English National Ballet as the first dancer, while keeping his position in Canada. In 2020, the English National Ballet promoted it at the main head and started dancing with the full -time company. He started dancing at the age of three at the school of his parents (Lucia Giuffrida, Francesco Frola), a dance profession in Parma. When he was 15, he competed at the Prix de Lausanne and was awarded a scholarship at the School of the Ballet of Hamburg in Germany, then he moved to the artistic Future Cordobés, Mexico, to train with a teacher who also taught to the his parents.
In 2010, Frola competed again at the Prix de Lausanne, even if he did not enter the final, he received an apprenticeship at the National Ballet of Canada and joined the body of the dance the following year. He was soon assigned solo roles in Nijinsky and Giselle, and main roles including the role of the protagonist in Nijinsky and Lescaut in Manon. In 2015, while he was still in the Ballet Corps, he had been originally scheduled to dance Prince Florimund in La Bella asleep in the woods with Elena Lobsanova, but when she was injured, she danced with the Star of the Svetlana Lunkina company instead, and it was Promoted at first soloist the same year. In 2018 he was promoted first dancer, the highest degree of the company, and joined the English National Ballet, keeping his position in Canada. In 2020, Enb promoted him at first dancer.
